Doobay escaped unscathed.The men said that they did not know anything until they were taken to the Linden Hospital Complex, where they both remained for a week.Upon arrival at the hospital, Ramsammy’s head was grotesquely swollen, the result of several cuts, and a ‘split and broken’ nose.He also suffered a dislocated shoulder and ruptured lungs, which necessitated the insertion of a tube to aid his breathing.Cornelius suffered a broken shoulder and fractured ribs, along with several lacerations to the head.
