| Relatives of 31-year-old Randy Haniff, are claiming that he died as a result of Leptospirosis. Hnaiff succumbed at the Georgetown Public Hospital about 20:15 hours Friday.Dead: 31-year-old Randy Haniff According to the man’s mother, Donna Haniff, her son was admitted to the Davis Memorial Hospital two Fridays ago, where tests were conducted and the results were inconclusive.Haniff was nevertheless admitted to the institution with symptoms synonymous to Leptospirosis. The next day, Mrs Haniff claimed that they were advised to take Haniff to the Georgetown Public Hospital where there were better facilities and since the doctors there could do nothing more. This was done the Saturday.According to Haniff’s relatives, when they arrived at the GPHC they were asked by the doctors about their reason for taking the man to Davis Memorial Hospital.Relatives claimed that Haniff was nevertheless admitted and on Wednesday last, relatives said they were told that he had Leptospirosis and he was being treated for that.“On Wednesday a doctor said that Randy was a confirmed case of lepto,” a sister said.Randy who lived in Charlestown now leaves to mourn his three sons, Shaquille 11, Devon10, and 10 month old Abednego and his reputed wife, Michelle.Meanwhile,NBA Jerseys Store, this newspaper was told that there was another suspected Leptospirosis death at the GPHC during the week.However, a senior official of the GPHC, when contacted, said that the institution was unaware of the death.He said that they would not be able to confirm whether the death was as a result of Leptospirosis until Monday. |
