Transport Minister Scott Emerson has called a meeting with drivers and their unions over concerns that some children and parents are routinely exploiting the policy.

But Transport Workers Union (TWU) secretary Peter Biagini said bus conductors should be trialled in problem areas to ensure repeat offenders pay up.
"Parents have got to take responsibility, they've got to make sure their children are going on buses with money."
Queensland Police Commissioner Bob Atkinson said he would rather bus drivers err on the side of caution than have a child standing alone at a bus stop.
"I think it's a difficult problem and I think we have to have some sympathy for the bus companies and the Louboutin Heels bus drivers as well if Beats Studio this (policy) is to be abused," Mr Atkinson told Adidas Wings Black reporters in Brisbane on Monday.
