And how it's needed.
Brother Stephen Brennan serves food to visitors
The Brothers, who profess public vows of chastity, poverty and obedience, run a twice weekly soup kitchen from the Methodist church's hall around the corner in Darlington Street.
They also give out groceries throughout the week to those providing valid ID.
Some of the food is donated by residents, Buy Canada Goose Uk with a recent surge coming from harvest festivals, some comes from other faith groups, while shops such as Sainsburys in Wednesfield and the Co op in Sedgley pass on items as they near their sell by date.
Also on offer are shower facilities, clothes, laundry services and, whenever they are donated, household items like microwaves, duvets, sleeping bags, toothbrushes and toiletries.
Philip Ferriter, aged 46, was among the Moncler Canada grateful recipients of food on offer one luchtime.
"I was homeless for a bit and now I'm getting myself back on track," said single Philip, who is on Jobseekers' Allowance and lives in a private flat in Wolverhampton.

"I come here because I know a lot of the lads, and the centre helps me out with sandwiches, tins of Canada Goose Gilet food, fruit and cake. There's very little money left by the time I've paid for things like clothes, electricity and water.
"I heard about this through word of mouth but didn't think I would ever need it.
"I have worked, labouring in factories, but trying to find work is like banging your head against a brick wall."
Another man, who asked to be known as Paul, said he received 142 every two weeks in unemployment benefit, but that it all went towards the mortgage on his home in the Penn Fields area of the city.
The former museum technician, aged 56, said: "I've had high status jobs in the past.
"I Barbour International go for a job and the ageism thing is thrown at me.
"I've IT qualifications but I'm having to apply for menial jobs and I'm getting no comeback from people.
"I would describe the atmosphere out there as hostile. But this is genuine charity. Without this, where would a lot of people be?"

Drug and alcohol counsellors from Wolverhampton Addiction Services, Aquarius and the YMCA's holistic Bridge project are also on hand at the lunchtime sessions.
The centre has costs of around 80,000 a year and receives an annual Parajumpers Canada 53,000 grant from Wolverhampton City Council. The rest of its cash comes from donations.
As the Mail visited, Brother Stephen, 60, was run off his feet dealing with locals with empty stomachs, who had missed the soup kitchen times, many of them hammering on the door of the centre for help.
