Practices have been strong and the five men and a couple of women are eager to be competitive. Their dedication to the sport involving cross country and have goals set up. The local community has responded nicely to the need and desire to get started a Division I group. Coach comments: this is very very much a team sport, I believe about the men side we can produce an immediate impact in the localized tournament. A coach dream is to get a software program up and running with the support of the local community. Recruiting some of the leading local talent in the area is an added bonus.
But with signing up comes the highs and lows.
The high with the College of Southern Doctor is that the school will have it's first men cross country crew with a team of five sportsmen.
The low is the women group still in search of more athletes, the same issue as not too long ago when the first year group experienced just three females, meaning they could only compete singularly, not as a team.
As the program, under head coach Chris Tuttle, in his second season, as well as assistant coach Josh Trice, continues the actual growing pains of starting point a program, they have found many success right in their own back garden.
Chris Jones, who transferred from NCAA Division III Elizabethtown University (Pa.), will lead the pack to the men team.

have been managing and coaching the sport for over 25 years and I am very impressed with the number of dedication and hard work this group is putting in, Tuttle reported. a coaching perspective, we could never ask for a better group of university student athletes.
