| Two juveniles who were apprehended in connection with an assault against three young men in Dairy last Wednesday were both slapped with a charge of unlawful wounding. The defendants, who appeared before the Wales Magistrate’s Court, on Thursday were both released on $15,000 bail. They are to return on June 16, 2015.The two young men are alleged to have been a part of the 15-men ‘vigilante’ group who attacked Alex Parks, 15, Conroy Washington, 24,Cheap NBA Jerseys Online, and Shaquille Sears, all of Dairy, West Bank Demerara, from behind. While Sears was able to escape unharmed the vigilante group proceeded in inflicting grievous bodily harm with the use of cutlasses on Parks and Washington.Another man was also arrested in this matter. He made an appearance before the Wales Magistrate’s Court on Monday and was remanded to prison. The matter was adjourned to a later date.This publication was told that 15 men armed with cutlasses attacked the ‘bird catchers’. They were stripped of their clothing, beaten, tied up and placed to sit on an ants nest. According to reports the duo was rescued by a villager who took them to La Grange Police station, before they were escorted by ranks to the WDRH. |
