| Thirty-four-year-old Charles Anthony Woolford, of 2041 Hummingbird Street, Festival City, North Ruimveldt, was yesterday charged with the capital offence of murder. Latoya Woolford, of 2041 Hummingbird Street, Festival City, succumbed on Sunday morning at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) after reportedly being stabbed several times about the body by her husband, Charles Woolford, who subsequently tried to end his life by ingesting what is believed to be a poisonous liquid, a few hours after learning that his wife had died.He was hospitalized and was later released, on Tuesday last, to face the present charges.Latoya Woolford was stabbed on Saturday afternoon at the couple’s home following what was described as a heated argument between the two. Latoya Woolford, 29, a mother of three, had her stomach sliced open shortly after her husband had allegedly accused her of having a relationship with a neighbour.
