| The National Training Project for Youth Empowerment and the Single Parents Board of Industrial Training awarded diplomas to a large group of graduates from Regions Three and Four, yesterday at the National Culture Centre.The event highlighted the initiative taken by single parents to improve their lives by undergoing training in various fields of work such as catering, cosmetology and sewing. You will go into your communities and train the young people (and so) pass on the knowledge you have garnered.”Minister of Labour Manzoor Nadir joked that he was happy to hear that more than 300 of the trainees are working because they will now be paying taxes to give him the comfort of his rocking chair he might receive on November 29, 2011.He continued that Ms. Blackman has spent at the Board of Industrial training $145 million to provide adequate facilities for the trainees to train in.
