CITY HALL With the flooding of iconic high rises that were supposed to transform down-town having been halted by the economic decline, Glendale's skyline won't be changing anytime soon.
During a 2008 hearing with Verdugo Gardens, a planned 24 history luxury condominium complex, area officials predicted the project is needed transform downtown into a busy residential area.
"It's going to be a signature building," Councilman Blunt Quintero said at the Ghd Hobart time. "This is going to introduce a new type of residential moving into the city."
Two years later, that introduction is a ways off.
