| B and J Civil Works on Monday resumed work on Burnham Drive in the vicinity of D’Anjou Alley, after an almost three-week cessation, due to the presence of exposed cables belonging to the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GT&T).B and J Civil works was contracted to repair and replace culverts at D’Anjou Alley, Christianburg, Poker Street,(Water Lily Road) Wismar and Cooperative Crescent on Mackenzie.According to reports, the rehabilitative work which involves the replacement of the culvert leading into the nearby Demerara River, was halted after the cables became exposed during the initial excavation works.Foreman of B and J Civil Works,Jerseys NFL Wholesale, Leon Seunarine,Wholesale MLB Jerseys, said that his company had taken a decision to halt the project until GT&T did what was necessary to protect their cables.In the interim, Seunarine and his team had proceeded to Coop Crescent on the opposite Mackenzie shore where similar work was undertaken.However, contrary to reports in another section of the press, those works were not carried out simultaneously with the D’Anjou Alley works.
