Grant to House Nebraska Homeless
A record number of homeless programs across the country are receiving $1.5 billion in grant money from the Department of Housing and Urban Development this year.
One Nebraska non profit and ultimately, the community is reaping the benefits.
"I was able to find something and I needed assistance with like the first months rent and deposit and the utilities and what not so that way I would be Buy Nike Free Run Online able to become self sufficient in supporting my boys," Wilson says.

"We've seen an increase in the number of people coming through our doors because the utility prices Nike Free Run have gone up. Gas prices have gone up. Food prices have gone up and folks have less resources," says CNCS Executive Director Jose Zapata.
But the non profit corporation just got another resource 2 Housing and Urban Development grants totally more than $320,000.
"This means so much to us because we're able to provide those kinds of resources to families that are really in need and individuals that are really in need," says Zapata.
Without help Kristi says she'd still be at a local shelter.
"I'd probably still be in Hope Harbor," she says.
